Study of predatory mite in scorpion's enclosure
Study of predatory mites in scorpion's enclosure. all material, samples are collected by me on the substrate of coconut peat in Heterometrus spinifer's enclosure and cultured in room temperature (27-30'C). Other samples are mounted and preserved in alcohol, but preserving in alcohol seems make the samples fragile when prepared on glass slide. Suspected to be as Conchogneta sp. , soil mites that live in such humidity, temperature, and eating on decompose nutrient in the soil as well as the left over food.
material used: microscope Olympus, Olympus SZ-30 MR Digital Camera, iodine staining, 70% alcohol, culture's material.
the mites were cultured on cocopeat substrate
