Sharing our setup for our desert breeders
As the title goes, let's share how we keep our desert breeders.
This is one of my simple breeder setup for desert scorpions, a 30cm x 16cm x 24cm glass tank (e.g. about 2.5 gallon)
Water dish is placed on top of the bark to minimize the chance of it being buried under the sand when the scorpion decides to play "gold mining"
Notice that the water dish is empty.. yes, it is usually filled (half way to the brim) once every 10-14 days.
A minimum of two large hides are required for the adult pair. Yes they are married.. but hey...
Everyone needs some space of their own at times, don't we ?

Now GS in some articles you've stated you keep your specimen like you would in a lab using coco fiber dry for desert and moist for forest species. What you have in that picture looks a lot like sand with a bit of mix. What substrate do you recommend?
