I think it's funny that these are recommended for beginners. I think they should be recommended for every scorpion enthusiast. With their willingness to sting, quick temper and amazing attack stance. Even people who've kept lots of species should have a Hadrurus or 3 in their collection. It's unfortunate that their needs for raising young and successfully molting in captivity are so tricky to get right.

Not to mention their predisposition for mycosis, I have never heard of species so prone to it.

Here is my possibly gravid AF H arizonensis. She slaughtered the male after 2 weeks of them living together and mating numerous times
