Hey Guys Smile

I do not have much tarantulas as the current scorpion breeding projects I have at hand is pretty much take up most of my time... I do have a few Ts though, some that I could not resist getting.

These are some pictures of them that i have dug out from my PC, i'm planning to a new set of photo shoot on some of them with my new gears. Alright, here they are...

Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens:

Currently, she's a beautiful 5.5" Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens!
Shimmering blue legs..

I would say that they are superbly hardy tarantulas!
Reason being, I am seldom around to give them attention.. feeding comes in once every 10-14 days.

In terms of water provision, they like it dry and i only offered water once every 2 weeks.
I use to offer them water dish but in the end, every keeper will just realize that they simply web up every single thing within their enclosure. Ultimately, their enclosure will end up like this.

Hence, don't bother to do a nice looking setup!

My recommendation for raising slings is 2-3 feeding of pinhead-juvenile cricket/roach a week but cut-down/ stop when you realized they're about to moult soon.

Adults do well with a adult cricket/roach and water provision once every 10-14 days.

Venom-wise, i would say not of medical-importance. However, keep it away from the old/young and ppl who might be alergic to Ts' venom. Due to their speed and their defensive nature, i would suggest it for keepers who has passed beginner phase.

Awesome shots of the GBB. Loving that setup too. Got mine in a deli not, guess it'll need rehousing after a molt.
Did you keep her on a similar setup once she outgrew that one? I mean, with those cork "structures" for webbing.

Can't wait until mine gets that full coloring Smile Mine's too damn "jumpy" to get any decent pics though Sad

Loving the Brachys too. Emilia is something I've been looking to get for quite a long time now.

I got lazy after they were about 5 inches big. lolz
They were moved to translucent shoe boxes, and with just a bark placed against a corner, the whole enclosure has been webbed up Smile

Wow, very nice. I was just given 2 female and 1 male Texas Brown Tarantulas (Aphonopelma hentzi). Once I do alittle research, I may try my hand at breeding.

Funny how things turn out. I started out with a female Aphonopelma hentzi and now I have 2 male, 2 female Aphonopelma hentzi and 1 male, 1 female Aphonopelma anax. Now if I could just tell who's who! The first 4 are wild caught, the last 2 were part of a trade. I've done some searching, but nothing definative yet on the differences. I'll post some pic's soon.
