Both male and female are bought from different person and I am scared to house them communally. What a Face

Imo, that shouldn't be be a deciding factor as cannibalism do happen among specimens from the same scorpion parents and those which are bought from the same dealer.

However, it is always the safest choice to house scorpions individually, no matter what instar your specimens are.

Quick thinking Smile

Btw, with regards to your query on ASA's facebook page, P.pallidus male may attain sexual maturity at both 6 and 7.instar. Usually the former.

The life-cycle of P.pallidus can refer to P.transvaalicus? or P.pallidus has a different one?

Btw, 18 days in transit is pretty long, from EU or Php or ?

Wow that is quite the hairdo. Would you estimate the are stacked 6 or 7 deep at the top there? She is going to be thirsty providing enough moisture through her system to keep that thick a layer hydrated.
