Heterometrus spinifer in da house!
here are some pic of my Heterometrus spinifer to share..
can see the granules on the carapace, that's some point to differentiate with H.laoticus which have no granules on the carapace. and H.longimanus with different pattern of granules and femur.
and he telling me a story told me that he saw a cricket at this big!

Great photos!
And not only, atleast in europe, H. laoticus seems to be commonly sold as spinifer. This pics shows the perfect way to differentiate.

ya!! sorry, it's H.laoticus actually, that doesn't have the granules. thanks DolbyR for remind me. my mistake. H.longimanus can differentiate with the pattern of granules and the femur and telson.
