HOW TO SEPARATE SCORPLINGS?????

good day everyone! my hottentotta just have babies, i'm wondering how can i separate them and what instar should i do that? the mother seems so defensive, what should i do then? tnx.

Welcome to the forum!
Please take your time to introduce yourself and have a look at the scorpion rules.
As for moving scorpion young, it will be easier if you move the mother first into another enclosure. You may do this with a pair of long thongs, quickly grabbing her by the first tail-segment (this is the first segment after her body).
After the mother is out of the way, you may carefully scoop the scorpion young with a spoon.

You are going to want to wait until the scorpions babies have molted once on her back and are leaving her of their own accord. Until that first molt they are relying on her for moisture to correctly grow and thrive.

ohh i see, so after they molt and i separated them is it okay if i put all the babies into a one container? are they not going to kill each other?

For H. hottentotta, I would suggest individual enclosures. If you've got the space, go for delicups or if you prefer to optimize available space, you may use a simple tackle-box.
