Husbandry for Hottentotta jayakari

Hi, keeping conditions same as desert type scorpion?

Different keepers may have their specific methods in keeping Hottentotta jayakari, and I will share how I kept mine.

For substrate, i used pure coco fibre (dry) during the initial setup of the enclosure. Slight misting is done regularly on the substrate on a weekly basis. It is done only at a single corner of the substrate with moderation. After misting has been done, no more than 30% of the substrate surface should be damp. And the quantity should be so mild that the coco fibre could dry up within a couple of days. Just a reminder, never mist directly on the scorpions.
