hello,
i have a p. trans at home, i was wondering if you could help me determine what instar is it in. its nearly 1.5 inches. the salesman said its 4i, but i doubt it. please help

A picture can sometimes be helpful since scorpions like people end up being different shapes and sizes. What makes you doubt the person who sold it to you so much?

its bec. when i compare my ptrans to other 4i ptrans it looks so small.

Not all specimens grow up to their "full specification" 1.5" and 4i doesn´t sound impossible.
Even with a picture, we would still be just guessing, there is no guaranteed way to determine the exact instar of a juvenile scorpion.
